Sustainability
At Ron Dorff, we have set ambitious sustainability and ethical goals for the years ahead. From the people who make our products to the materials we select, and from how we manage transportation worldwide to how we reduce our overall environmental footprint, every aspect of our business is guided by a commitment to responsible and long-term progress.
Limiting waste through durability and recycling
Ron Dorff stands for timeless, high-quality menswear designed to endure, both in terms of style and craftsmanship. Durability has been at the core of the brand since its launch more than a decade ago. Whenever possible, we prioritize the use of recycled materials and fabrics that can be more easily recycled in the future. From recycled polyester in our swimwear and recycled wool in our knitwear to recycled paper used for our shopping bags and e-commerce packaging, sustainability is integrated into every stage of the product journey.
Keeping things close to home
Whenever possible, Ron Dorff works with suppliers located close to its warehouse outside Paris. Today, 80% of production is carried out in Europe, including France for accessories, Italy for knitwear, and Portugal for underwear, swimwear, and sportswear. Whenever feasible, products are transported by rail or road to help reduce environmental impact.
Ron Dorff partners exclusively with logistics providers that can offer transparency regarding the carbon footprint of their shipments and is continuously working to reduce the environmental impact of transportation. In France, deliveries are handled by Colissimo. Internationally, Ron Dorff works with leading carriers such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS, selected according to their local presence and regional expertise, ensuring reliable and efficient delivery around the world.
Code of labour practices for suppliers
All European suppliers working with Ron Dorff respect the rigorous labour laws of the European Union. As for our suppliers outside the EU, they all adhere to our global code of labour practices for suppliers. The code stipulates minimum requirements for working conditions based on the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and UN principles. This includes the right of all workers to join trade unions, the right to a living wage, reasonable hours of work, safe working conditions and a legally binding employment contract. Child labour and all forms of discrimination are strictly banned.
Transparent supply chains
As a brand with a strong focus on sustainable design, we strive to be open about our processes. Through transparency we can ensure that customers know how all of our products are manufactured.
